Historic Urdu Edition of Globally Published Biography
of Pakistan’s National Poet Released for Independence Day

The original English edition of this biography was released globally in 2024 and received recognition for its historical depth and meticulous research. The newly published Urdu edition brings this important work to the language in which Hafeez Jalandhari created his greatest literary contributions, making his remarkable story accessible to millions of Urdu readers. Written by Naveen Khan, educator, author, and granddaughter of Hafeez Jalandhari, the biography draws upon years of research, family archives, rare photographs, historical documents, and personal insights to present an intimate portrait of one of the most influential literary figures in Pakistan’s history. More than a biography, the book is a preservation of Pakistan’s literary and cultural heritage. It explores Hafeez Jalandhari’s contributions to Urdu literature, his role in shaping national identity, his personal journey, and the enduring impact of his work across generations.
